Tina Bautista Named Executive Director of FTW Foundation

January 1, 2026 — FTW (For the Women) Foundation is thrilled to announce that Tina Bautista has been appointed as Executive Director, effective January 1, 2026. Tina brings over a decade of technology and e-commerce leadership experience to the role, positioning FTW for its next phase of growth and impact.

Before transitioning to the development sector, Tina spent her career growing organizations and leading teams across the Philippines and Southeast Asia at companies including Samsung, Globe, Carousell, OLX, and Intrepid. Her deep understanding of technology ecosystems, combined with her passion for women's empowerment, makes her uniquely positioned to expand FTW's reach and deepen its impact.

Since joining FTW as Head of Operations in May 2025, Tina has been instrumental in delivering FTW's most ambitious program yet: Batch 11, the organization's biggest and first-ever double cohort, training 55 women in both Data Engineering and Data Analytics. Her operational excellence and strategic vision drove the successful selection, launch, and delivery of this groundbreaking program, proving her ability to expand impact while maintaining FTW's world-class training standards.

Founder and previous Executive Director Cara Wilson continues to serve as President of the Board, providing strategic guidance and remaining deeply involved in FTW's mission. Under Cara's leadership since 2018, FTW has trained 605 women in data science, analytics, and engineering, achieving a 77% job placement rate and an average income increase of 218% for graduates.
