We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Intern! (Remote | With Allowance)

Overview

FTW (For The Women) Foundation is dedicated to transforming women’s lives through intensive tech-skills training, especially for those looking to transition into the data industry. Since launching in 2018, FTW has upskilled more than 550 women, many of whom are now thriving in new tech careers.

FTW is looking for digital marketing interns who are passionate and creative to help us create relevant and engaging content and manage social media platforms to spread the word about our mission and programs. This internship provides an excellent training opportunity on content strategy and creation, with a focus on short-form video formats for Tiktok and Facebook Reels. You will play an important role in driving online reach and engagement for FTW’s target audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and produce short-form videos for social media channels, particularly Tiktok and Facebook, based on FTW’s content calendar and objectives

  • Monitor content performance and analyze insights and new market trends that can be applied to new campaigns

  • Participate in brainstorming, ideation, content creation planning and strategy for ongoing and future campaigns

  • Assist in social media platform management as assigned

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled college students in their final year of their undergraduate program (preferably a degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related) and are required to have at least 300 hours of internship as an academic requirement. Also open to interested students on a volunteer basis.

  • Experienced in video creation and content creation and highly proficient in social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram) and video-editing tools, as well as Google suite.

  • Good communicators and team-players who are able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Access to their own device and internet access for a fully remote work set-up (flexible weekly working hours as agreed upon at the beginning of the internship) for the duration of the internship, allowance will be provided.
