Make a Difference. Work With FTW.

● Love of learning - at FTW we learn something new every day and your contribution will be very much appreciated

● Agility and flexibility of a small team member – FTW is a non-profit that strives to support deserving women, so we try to keep our team lean and efficient. Program Operations Officer

Role Overview

Reports to : Executive Director

Location : Makati City (hybrid, 2 days a week WFH)

Work schedule and setup : Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM / Tuesday to Saturday 9:00AM to 5:00PM during ongoing programs

Job Summary

The Program Operations Officer is the operational backbone of FTW's training programs. You will own the end-to-end execution of our flagship cohort program and lead operations across our expanding program portfolio. This is a high-ownership role built for someone who runs toward complexity, and builds systems designed to scale, and brings out the best in the people around them.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end operations of FTW's flagship cohort program — from admissions and scholar selection through daily program execution, completion, and employment placement

  • Manage all logistics, schedules, and coordination with program partners, instructors, and scholars (supported by FTW admin); support the design and delivery of custom programs or events as partnership needs evolve

  • Build and maintain tracking systems for scholar learning progress, attendance, and performance; monitor instructor delivery and escalate issues before they compound

  • Extend operational oversight to additional programs as the portfolio grows, standardizing processes and documenting institutional knowledge across every cohort

  • Track and synthesize post-program outcomes — employment, income progression, alumni data — into reports that serve grant applications, partner reporting, and organizational learning

  • Build and operationalize FTW's volunteer and mentor management system, from recruitment and onboarding through ongoing coordination and retention

  • Create and maintain process documentation, playbooks, and templates that allow FTW's programs to scale

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any field. What you've done matters more than what or where you studied.

  • Experience:

    • 3–5 years in program operations, project management, training delivery, or a closely related function

    • Demonstrated experience running programs, events, or training initiatives end-to-end — from planning through execution and closeout

    • Experience managing teams, instructors, vendors, or volunteers in a structured but fast-moving environment

    • Background in online learning platforms, EdTech, change management, or workforce development is a strong advantage

    • NGO experience is not required; mission alignment is

  • Skills:

    • Operationally excellent: you build systems, not workarounds, and you document what you build

    • Strong project manager: you track the details, meet deadlines, and proactively surface blockers before they become problems

    • People-oriented executor: you can direct instructors, coordinate volunteers, and hold stakeholders accountable without being heavy-handed

    • Comfortable with ambiguity: small-org experience or temperament is a genuine asset here; this role will require you to build infrastructure that doesn't yet exist

    • Proficiency in Google Workspace; experience with project management tools (Asana or equivalent) is a plus

What We're Not Looking For

Someone who needs a detailed playbook before they can move, who escalates by default, or who mistakes busyness for ownership. FTW is a small team doing outsized work. This role requires genuine self-direction and a high tolerance for figuring things out.
